Sobre Maria Ines
I am a geologist by profession who has been exposed to the experience of living abroad in a different culture with people speaking a foreign language. I remember them expecting me to understand them, but it was more than language. It is important to understand the cultural cues, the meanings, the history of the place and then empathy and imagination. In my classes we will speak about your experiences as a foreigner in Colombia and it will be my pleasure to give you context.
My husband is South African, and he is living the experience now. I am with him in his path to learn Spanish and the Colombian culture.

We will start talking Spanish from the beginning. There will be some grammar, but the main objective will be developing communication skills. We will start with an A1 text book for guidance. We will do classes at my house, nearby malls, webcam and around Bogotá to practice outdoors.
