One of the aspects I value most about teaching is building meaningful connections with my students, regardless of their age or level. I strive to create a supportive, no-judgment environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and developing their confidence in English. When students feel at ease, they are much more open to learning and improving!

My approach to teaching English is highly personalized and structured. I begin by identifying each student’s specific goals—whether that’s improving conversation skills, preparing for an exam (Cambridge, Trinity, PAU), or gaining confidence in writing. From there, I design lessons that match their level, learning style, and interests.
In terms of methodology, I focus on building real understanding rather than memorization. I specialize in helping students who feel stuck or lack confidence in English finally understand how the language works. Students learn how to use English in practical situations through a combination of guided practice, conversation, and targeted grammar work. I place strong emphasis on speaking and writing, as these are often the most challenging areas for learners. Lessons include clear models, structured practice, and opportunities for independent use of the language.
A typical lesson might include:
-A short review of previous material
-Introduction of a key structure or vocabulary topic
-Guided speaking or writing practice (with support)
-Interactive activities or games to reinforce learning
-Immediate feedback and correction
For example, a lesson for a teenager might focus on expressing opinions about an engaging topic, using connectors such as “because,” “however,” and “for example.” The student would first practice with guided sentences and then build towards a short structured paragraph.
My strengths as a tutor include my ability to adapt lessons to different levels and learning needs, including students with ADHD, learning differences, or low confidence in English. I also bring experience from teaching multiple subjects in English, which allows me to support students in academic writing and subject-specific vocabulary.
One area I continuously work on is balancing structure with flexibility—ensuring that lessons remain engaging and responsive to the student while still achieving clear learning objectives.
My classes are aimed at a wide range of students, from upper primary (around age 9) to adults. I specialize in:
