Sobre Haroon
Hello! My name is Haroon, and I am a full-time high school teacher from Toronto, Ontario. There, I have taught Math, Science (Biology), and French for over 6 years. I am a native English speaker, and have also taught ESL and IELT-preparation classes.
I have an Honors Bachelors in Science degree from University of Toronto, a Master's of Teaching (MT) Degree from OISE (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education), and now over 8 years of teaching experience privately, in schools, and online. I am also TEFL-certified.
If you are looking to improve your English fluency with correct grammar, while also learning slang and everyday spoken English, feel free to contact me! I also teach secondary-level Biology, Mathematics, and French
We can have lessons online or in-person if you live in Valencia, and I will provide you with workbooks, listening exercises, reading comprehension, and practical scenarios to practice your spoken English. We will also listen to some English music, with recommendations to movies, and short stories.
For Math and Science, I will also give you exercises to practice with after answering your questions. These will be matched to your level and course.
These classes will be engaging and interactive, and I look forward to developing my student clientele here

However, what's common among all of my classes is a high student-engagement - this means, lots of opportunities for you to practice speaking ️ (if it is a language class) or to ask a lot of questions!
Utilizo muchas herramientas online como:
- games (online and in-person)
- nearpod for our engaging lessons
- video tutorials (that i may create for you)
- multimedia, such as songs
- sometimes, I may have engaging activities that involve a friend, classmate, or family member to make your learning more meaningful and memorable
And of course, I am always open to adapting classes to what you enjoy the most
