Israel is a great student with a good attitude to class. He participated actively in all activities and was willing to learn.
Israel's spoken fluency is good (around B2). He made few grammar mistakes during the class, mainly with modal verbs and simple vs continuous tenses. He tells me he wants to improve general English for work and also hobby and travel.
I recommend 90% speaking and 10% grammar during the class. Reading & listening can be left for homework and we can focus on mistakes and additional strategies for the first 20 mins of each class. The rest of the class can be dedicated to the speaking section. All of our class records will be kept in the google document we reviewed at the end of class.
