Sobre Juan Felipe
Hi! My name is Juan Felipe and I'm currently a music & sound engineering student. However, languages have also been my passion since I was a kid. That's why I decided to learn as much as my head would allow me to hehe. I may confess that at the begging, I was really bad at it and that made me improve the way to learn and teach new languages to me and to others. I have more than 5 years of experience on this field and I have taught more than 50 students since 2016. I speak fluently French, German, English and Spanish. Spanish is my mother tongue, but I studied in a french school (lycée français) where I did the Baccalauréat and I learned english as well.
I also made one exchange year in switzerland during high school. There I improved my english with other exchange students from the US, Canada, Australia and I, of course, learned german achieving the B2 Goethe Prüfung.
Currently I work as a teacher on two different language schools, and I also still study languages.
I'm improving a little bit of Italian which I learned at school in Switzerland. And I'm also trying to learn Catalan (language of Catalunya Spain).
I love music, sports and books and one of my main goals is to connect everything on my students heads. If they make a connection between their hobbies or interests with the new language and things that they're learning + the gramatic rules and all the things they already learned on their mother tongue; they got everything set to love new languages without failing during the process :)

As told, my german courses are designed in three different a languages: French, English. I teach levels from A1 or not german at all to B2.
This courses comprise several modules to train every skill needed to speak fluently any language; in this case, german.
In the first lesson, we make an introducttion and opening test to check your level, then a short interview to know your interests and main goals, and then we start our course aka listening, speaking, reading, translating, etc.... The most important thing is that EVERY lesson, for EVERY student is personalized in order to keep the student focus on what his/hers interests are and apply every piece of knowledge learned on every lesson. My technique try and learn without feeling ashamed. Finally, we also do periodical testing to check what we learned and we also come back and check the old ones to see our progress.
As a teacher I also give homework (very short and also depends on the students time) but with my 5 and half years of experience, I can tell you that languages are like sports, if you don't practice, even a little, out of the ''virtual classroom'' and check what you learned on the lesson, the process is going to become, slow, boring, repetitive and disapointing. That's why this courses are full personalized to get the student to apply everything right away! I hope to see you soon!
