I'm originally from the north of England, but moved to London for university. 11 years there allowed me to neutralise my Yorkshire accent! I have since lived 2 years in Spain, another 2 in Chile, and 6 months travelling around the rest of South America.
My educational background is in Modern Languages and Linguistics, and professional background in Web/Graphic Design and Marketing, in which I have been running my own business since 2018.
My interests include yoga, computer/card games and eating too much. I'm a big music, animal and plant (particularly cacti) -lover too.

I became CELTA-qualified in 2017, and since then have been teaching in various forms; from age 4 to adults; in an academy, online, and as a private tutor; in one-on-one classes, up to groups of 15. I have experience with General English, conversation classes, exam preparation, and Business English.
Having studied languages myself (Spanish, French and Greek), I understand how it is to be both student and teacher. I know how it is to be nervous, and having to sit through boring classes. My priority is to make students feel comfortable and to enjoy class... as well as to learn, obviously!
Classes are tailored to the student, so depending on level and goals, every lesson is different.
