Hi, I'm Abby, and I'm from the United States. I like to teach English because I believe that new languages lead to new opportunities. It's important that students can use English in all settings. I want my students to be confident in their conversations and writing.
I have two years of experience as a tutor, and I like to help my students achieve their goals. I also have my degree in English and my TEFL certification. Now, I'm an English language assistant in a school in Spain.

Hola, soy Abby y soy una tutora de inglés de los Estados Unidos. Soy una hablante nativa y tengo un Título en inglés y un TEFL. Puedo ayudarte con tu pronunciación si quieres mejorar tu acento y puedo ayudarte con tu escritura y gramática. Era una tutora en los Estados Unidos por dos años. Enseñaba inglés, literatura y gramática, a los estudiantes que tenían entre 7 y 18 años. Ahora, soy una auxiliar de inglés en un colegio en Madrid para los grados 5 y 6 y la escuela secundaria.
Creo que las clases de inglés deben incluir todas las habilidades: hablar, escuchar, escribir, y leer. Con cada nueva palabra o nuevo concepto gramatical, los estudiantes necesitan practicar las cuatro habilidades. También, las clases deben ser divertidas y usar actividades diferentes.

I can help you with your pronunciation if you want to improve your accent and I can help with your writing and grammar. I was a tutor in the United States for 2 years. I taught English, literature and grammar to students between 7 and 18 years old. Now, I’m an English language assistant in a school in Madrid for 5th and 6th grade and the secondary school.
I believe that English classes should include all skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. With each new word or grammatical concept, students need to practice those 4 skills. I also believe that classes should be fun and use different activities.
