Sobre Denise
My main line of educating has been ESL (English as Second Language)/ TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) in view of preparing alumni for their corresponding Cambridge examinations, although, at one point I taught Year 2 pupils at an Infant School in the U.K.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and care about students’ wellbeing, always trying to bring out the best in each and every one. I spend a lot of time in selecting adequate material, whether it be from a text book or online, to ensure student engagement, participation and, at the same time, adapt it to instil Soft Skills that are so necessary for their future.

Talented educator, always aware of how to include everyone, differentiating, breaking down the objective, using topics with associated vocabulary. I employ a lot of PBL to create a wide range of communication skills needed at any level, specially in Cambridge Examinations prep classes. Here a great deal of debating is carried out about students' day-to-day life, future studies or jobs, to help get them on the right road.
My personal skills include team player, creativity, thinking outside the box, good communication ( writing , a good listener), decision making, innovation, motivator and imagination.
I do not shy from responsibility, having been part of the SMT, subject co-ordinator or Head of Studies, always endeavouring to make learning enjoyable , flexible and practical.
