I am an Irish woman, living in Mexico! I have always had an interest in living in different countries and experiencing different cultures. I enjoy the challenge and feel it is a great way to develop as a person.
I am interested in art, music, nature, food, people, psychology and as mentioned above culture!
I have a degree in English Literature, and psychology. I have worked in several different places teaching English. I have experience teaching kids and adults and love the job!

I like to use a variety of material in my classes, such as videos, pdfs, games, and more. The idea for most of my students is that they are learning something and then putting it into practice in conversation. It all depends on your level, of course. With the lower levels, I work on the grammar with them and make them use it in various ways (conversation, filling in the banks, listening, reading...). With higher levels, I introduce new words through videos or articles and then encourage students to use these new words. I also love to teach some phrases that native speakers use very often and that can be difficult for non-native speakers to understand.
I like to keep track of everything that is covered in classes, I use a platform called notion for this, and after each class I upload all the new vocabulary, materials used in class and homework (if the student wants homework) and I share this space of notions with the students so that they can access everything and study as much as they want between classes.
Every few weeks I will do an activity with my students to see if they also remember things we covered earlier, just to keep my students from forgetting things!
