Sobre David
Hi! My name is David Takacs, and I’m currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Barcelona.
Before that, I studied Business and Management at McMaster University (Canada) and graduated from the Vienna International School with an International Baccalaureate (IB).
Since 2020, I’ve been tutoring students in Maths, Physics, Economics, Sociology, and Languages, and I’ve helped over 36 students improve their grades, with most of them successfully entering their first-choice university.
I’m passionate about making complex topics simple and accessible. My lessons are always tailored to your needs, whether that means preparing for IB exams, reinforcing key skills, or developing long-term study habits.
Outside of teaching, I’m an avid traveler (I’ve visited 52 countries), speak 5 languages, and hold a private pilot’s license—so I know first-hand how curiosity and discipline can open new horizons.

I don't have one methodology, rather I adapt to my students needs.
My main focus will be to listen to the student and through that I can get a better understanding of where and how I can help the most.
As I also did the IB, I have a very good understanding of the requirements that are needed to pass. Therefore I can help clear uncertain point regarding the IAs, EE, TOK, and even the separate subjects.
I can guarantee that I will make the 2 years of IB a lot more bearable.
