I first met Mariglory Rodriguez while we were both working at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), collaborating through the Office of Quality of Life on initiatives focused on the well-being and development of our student community. Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of getting to know her and witness firsthand her integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and genuine commitment to education and service. She is an organized, dependable professional with an exceptional ability to lead, mentor, and inspire those around her.

One of the most meaningful opportunities I had to work alongside Mariglory was on a food security initiative serving students at UPR Carolina. As a mentor to the students involved in the Come Jaguar student organization, she provided the guidance, knowledge, and structure needed to build a strong and sustainable program. What impressed me most was her ability to teach, listen, and support students as they developed confidence and stepped into leadership roles. Thanks to her vision, dedication, and hard work, the initiative continues to make a positive impact on students at UPR Carolina today.

I had the pleasure of learning Spanish with Mariglory, and I can confidently say that choosing her as a Spanish teacher was one of the best decisions I could’ve made… She created a welcoming and encouraging learning environment that made me feel comfortable practicing, asking questions, and making mistakes without fear.

Her teaching style not only helps you memorize vocabulary and grammar rules, but she also takes the time to explain the language in a way that feels natural and practical, helping you truly understand how Spanish is spoken and used in real-life situations. Conozco a Mariglory desde hace 3 o 4 años. Siempre ha estado dispuesta a ayudarme. Me ha tratado con mucho amor y me ha dado consejos en los tiempos más difíciles que he enfrentado hasta ahora. Conozco a Mariglory hace ya 5 años, hemos trabajado juntas, siempre ha tenido mucha disposición para enseñar, generalmente ha tenido a su cargo muchos estudiantes y se ha esmerado en enseñarles cuando ve que tienen algunos vacíos, su fuerte es el Español. Adicionalmente a su vocación por enseñar, le gusta escribir, es excelente.
