I am currently teaching a young boy english in Barcelona. I teach him three times a week for six hours a week. His conversation has dramtically improved since I began to work with him. At home in Ireland I also have helped about 6 foreign exchange students with their students from the ages of 14 to 18.

Soy un estudiante irlandés que estudia negocios y español en la universidad de barcelona. Tengo mucha experiencia enseñando clases de conversación a través del inglés en Irlanda a niños. También he ayudado a niños con trabajos escritos en inglés en áreas como verbos, gramática, etc. Actualmente, en Barcelona estoy enseñando inglés a un niño pequeño a través de ayuda con la tarea y conversación general con él a través de inglés. I think that it is very important that the student learns English in a safe and fun enviroment and always feel comfortable with myself, the teacher. I am very open and always available if any questions are to be asked in or outside of the classroom. I have no problem responding to questions in emails about any of the work I assign. Even though I do speak Spanish, I feel it is important that I always speak English to my students in order for them to learn as much as possible in the class.
