El estudiante debe ser el centro, despúes de mi explicación debe producir la segunda lengua. Uso ejemplos reales de la vida diaria y de negocios, mucha mÏmica, gestos faciales, y motivación.

I am an effective, energetic and dedicated educator with more than ten years of college teaching experience. My years of international business in Latin America, Spain and the United States of America have contributed to my knowledge of the different cultures in Spanish speaking countries. As a result of my experiences, I am able to adapt my teaching style to classes comprising diverse students and their needs. I incorporate the newest technologies available for second-language acquisition in my teaching approach. As teaching is my passion and joy, I connect well with my students, which is reflected in my teacher evaluations and student success rate.

These courses were five credit hours each, consisting of four credit hours of lecture and one credit hour online; teaching six classes per semester and three to four classes in the summer session since 2007. Consistently received the highest student evaluations in the Department for many years.
Taught Intermediate Spanish II and Conversation I, offered at the University for the first time.
Assistant to the Director of the University of South Florida Program Abroad in Costa Rica, Summer 2006. Traveled with 38 American students. Directed their independent study for academic credit and coordinated their local cultural and environmental activities. Personally accompanied the group on all field trips.

Interacted and collaborated with product managers, area sales managers, international distributors, and international end customers.
1985-1993 Sales Executive, Mahogany International, Inc. Charlotte, N.C. (US/Spain/Chile) Opened an alternative market in Latin America and Spain, performed market analysis, established and maintained connections with foreign embassies and businesses within the industry. Traveled to South America and Spain to further investigate and cement business relationships.
